AGIBOT Produces 15,000th Robot, Marks Milestone in Embodied AI Deployment
AGIBOT Innovation Technology Co. announced today that the 15,000th robot has rolled off its production line, signaling a significant step in moving embodied artificial intelligence systems from validation and batch manufacturing toward large-scale deployment. The milestone unit, an AGIBOT G2 wheeled mobile manipulator, reflects the company’s growing engineering and delivery capabilities.
Dr. Yao Maoqing, partner, senior vice president, and president of the embodied AI business unit at AGIBOT, stated: “The rollout of our 15,000th robot is not only an important milestone in AGIBOT’s mass production and engineering delivery capabilities, but also a reflection of the broader industry’s move toward scaled deployment in real-world settings.” He added that the company will continue bringing robots into more real-world scenarios and advancing industrialization through scaled delivery.
Rapid Scaling of Production
Founded in 2023, AGIBOT has demonstrated accelerating production rates. The company reported that it took about a year to grow from 1,000 to 5,000 units. However, the next jump from 5,000 to 10,000 units took only three months—a more than fourfold increase in production speed. The latest extension to 15,000 units continues this trajectory of rapid expansion.
According to AGIBOT, the achievement reflects robust capabilities across product portfolio development, supply chain readiness, standardized manufacturing, engineering delivery, and on-site deployment. The company emphasized that sustained production at this scale requires reliable supply, repeatable manufacturing processes, and effective implementation in working environments.

The AGIBOT G2 and Embodied AI Validation
The milestone unit is the AGIBOT G2, a wheeled mobile manipulator featuring a humanoid torso and arms designed for industrial tasks. In late June, AGIBOT completed approximately 100 cumulative hours of factory livestream operations using the G2. During these trials, the robot performed quality inspections of tablets in line with factory production rhythms and worked continuously alongside human workers.
The company also hosted a World Challenge alongside ICRA to demonstrate how AI models enable robotics for industrial applications. AGIBOT’s “Three Intelligences in One” architecture integrates locomotion, interactions, and manipulation into a unified system. Its product portfolio includes humanoid robots, quadrupeds, dexterous systems, and commercial cleaning robots.
Market Leadership and Outlook
According to market research firm Omdia, AGIBOT ranked first globally in humanoid robot shipments and market share in 2025, with annual shipments of 5,168 units and a 39% share of the global market. The company asserts that its embodied AI leadership extends from shipments to sustained production, reliable delivery, and real-world deployment.
“Industry competition is moving beyond single-robot demonstrations and proof-of-concept projects toward scaled production, batch delivery, and real-world application,” AGIBOT noted. “As more robots enter industrial, commercial, and public-service environments, the ability to sustain large-scale production and deployment will become an important measure of capability.”
