Ambi Robotics and Pickle Robot Deliver Integrated Physical AI Solution to Fully Automate Inbound Logistics
Ambi Robotics, a provider of AI-powered robotic systems for commercial operations, and Pickle Robot Company, a specialist in Physical AI for supply chain applications, have announced the successful integration of their robotic systems. The collaboration, driven by demand from Fortune 500 retail and logistics operators, creates a fully automated workflow from trailer unloading through pallet stacking and warehouse receiving.
The deployment links Pickle Robot's trailer-unloading robots with Ambi Robotics' AmbiStack multipurpose stacking solution. Packages are unloaded from inbound trailers by Pickle Robot's systems, then transferred via conveyor to AmbiStack for identification, scanning, and stacking. The end-to-end solution uses existing warehouse infrastructure, enabling operators to automate critical inbound processes without major facility redesigns.
Addressing Labor-Intensive Workflows
The partnership demonstrates how warehouse operators can combine specialized automation technologies from multiple providers to tackle labor-intensive tasks, including the persistent challenge of dock door operations. By integrating best-in-class systems, the solution maintains operational flexibility while addressing key bottlenecks in inbound logistics.
"Warehouse operators shouldn't have to choose between best-in-class technologies and seamless integration," said Jim Liefer, CEO of Ambi Robotics. "As Physical AI transforms supply chains, interoperability will become increasingly important. We believe the future of warehouse automation will be built on collaboration across the industry, where specialized systems work together to solve complex operational challenges."
AJ Meyer, Founder and CEO of Pickle Robot Company, added: "Customers want automation that improves real-world throughput while fitting into existing operations. This collaboration shows how robotic unloading can integrate seamlessly with downstream automation systems to help move goods more efficiently through the warehouse, and it sets the stage for orchestrating multi-robot processes that can self-improve and self-correct over time."

Designed for Interoperability
Both AmbiStack and Pickle Robot's unloading systems are engineered to operate within existing warehouse environments without requiring infrastructure overhauls. AmbiStack can integrate with a range of warehouse systems and automated technologies, allowing deployment without reliance on a single vendor ecosystem. Similarly, Pickle Robot's systems are built to automate trailer and container unloading while fitting into current facilities, making the two technologies natural complements in an end-to-end inbound workflow.
