Eclipse Automation launches RealitySync simulation platform
Eclipse Automation has introduced Eclipse RealitySync, a new simulation platform designed to help manufacturers evaluate and scale factory automation before physical construction begins. The company debuted the product at Automate 2026 in Chicago, positioning it as a response to the increasing complexity of modern production environments.
The system leverages Apple Vision Pro technology to create immersive environments where users can walk through production lines, examine workflows in context, and collaborate across teams. Eclipse Automation experts guide the experience, which aims to replace traditional evaluation methods such as drawings and static layouts.
“The way manufacturers evaluate automation hasn’t kept pace with the real-world complexity of modern production,” said Steve Mai, CEO of Eclipse Automation. “Teams are still making major investment decisions using drawings and static layouts. We believe the future of factory automation is more immersive, collaborative, and informed.”
De-risking automation decisions earlier
Eclipse RealitySync functions as an immersive collaboration platform that merges people, project data, and physical systems into a shared virtual space. The company designed the product around three core goals: helping manufacturers uncover value before purchase, reducing project risk earlier in the automation lifecycle, and enabling more flexible production scaling.
By allowing engineering, operations, finance, and leadership teams to interact with automation systems prior to deployment, organizations can align faster, detect issues earlier, and make automation decisions with greater confidence, according to the company.

Real-world industrial grounding
The platform draws on Eclipse Automation’s experience across multiple industries, including life sciences, electric vehicles, automotive, battery production, heavy machinery, consumer goods, electronics, and aerospace and defense. The company, which operates facilities in the U.S., Canada, Hungary, and Germany, has over 25 years of experience delivering precision factory automation solutions.
Attendees at Automate 2026 can experience Eclipse RealitySync through live immersive demonstrations at Eclipse Automation’s booth 24011 in Chicago.
