VeriSilicon Unveils CPP2000 Camera Post-Processing IP for Robotics and Mobile Vision
VeriSilicon (688521.SH) has announced the launch of its CPP2000 Camera Post-Processing (CPP) IP, a high-performance solution that expands the company’s Image Signal Processing (ISP) portfolio with advanced post-processing capabilities. Designed to improve image quality and visual perception in mobile imaging scenarios, the CPP2000 aims to deliver more reliable vision performance for robotics, drones, and other mobile vision applications.
The IP supports image and video processing at resolutions up to 8K and offers multiple hardware configuration options to meet diverse Power, Performance, Area (PPA) and latency requirements across different applications.
Advanced Image Processing Technologies
CPP2000 integrates several image processing technologies that work together to optimize YUV images output from image signal processors. These include motion-compensated temporal filtering, advanced spatial noise reduction, chroma adjustment, dynamic contrast improvement, and edge enhancement. The combined operation of these technologies enables comprehensive optimization of image noise, sharpness, contrast, and detail preservation.
The result is improved image stability and visual performance in mobile imaging scenarios, while providing high-quality image input for subsequent visual perception and machine vision applications.

Executive Perspective on Vision System Challenges
“Delivering high image quality for robots and drones requires a holistic imaging strategy that extends beyond the image signal processor to include advanced camera post-processing,” said Weijin Dai, Chief Strategy Officer, Executive Vice President and General Manager of IP Division at VeriSilicon. “High-quality images are critical not only for visual fidelity but also for enabling reliable AI perception, navigation, and decision-making.”
Dai highlighted the growing demand for high-quality images as next-generation robotics increasingly relies on image sensing. “CPP2000 addresses these challenges with advanced camera post-processing technologies that significantly enhance image quality in challenging moving-camera scenarios,” he added. “When combined with our comprehensive vision processing portfolio, CPP2000 enables customers to develop more robust, intelligent, and power-efficient vision systems for next-generation robotics, drones, and other mobile vision applications.”
