Isaac 1 is equipped with autonomous navigation, enabling it to move between rooms to complete assigned tasks or return to its charger. Users can schedule chores through a companion app and remotely access the robot to assign new work or check in while away from home. The robot runs on an eight-hour battery with a two-hour recharge time, designed to work throughout the day and quickly return to service.

Isaac 1 builds on the earlier Isaac 0, which was initially deployed for folding clothes at laundry services and in homes. That task served as the training ground for the AI model behind the Isaac platform. Weave Robotics has sold several Isaac 0 units to customers in the San Francisco area, keeping them close to headquarters for support. The company notes that Isaac 0 can be set up in an afternoon, plugged into a standard wall outlet, and folds laundry for 30 to 90 minutes without user intervention.

The core capabilities of Isaac 1 include laundry flow—finding and picking up dirty clothes, folding, and managing hampers—and a daily reset feature that tidies rooms by making beds and putting away toys, shoes, blankets, and pillows. The robot’s solid inner structure, covered by soft fabric shells, is designed for passive safety and can be swapped for customization. Weave Robotics emphasizes that Isaac operates autonomously by default, with remote teleoperation assistance only when needed.
